In cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Veterinary Medicine/University of Baghdad, the Department of Pathology organised a training session titled “Therapeutic and Protective Regimen for People who an animal bites.” It was presented by Dr Ansam Mzahar Hussein, who works at the Animal Zoonotic Disease Unit in the Baghdad Health Department / Ministry of Health. This training session illustrated the most important guidelines of the WHO for managing the public health problem of animal bite injuries or exposure to suspected rabid saliva.
