The College Board’s Decisions

The University Board’s decisions and directives are communicated through the college board. It is also responsible for implementing these decisions and directives, as well as making recommendations to the University Board for approval on matters concerning students, faculty, and other academic and administrative issues.

 

First Session, Academic Year 2025/2026 – September 7, 2025

 From the University President:

  • Congratulations to all faculty, staff, and students on the start of the new academic year, with emphasis on the importance of both academic and practical training.
  • Ensure that all requirements are in place for graduate and postgraduate students for 2025/2026.

From the College Dean:

  • The curriculum should be updated in accordance with modern international teaching methods.
  • Newly admitted postgraduate students should receive close supervision and continuous support.

 

University Council Directives

Fourth Session – October 8, 2025

  • Emphasize full preparation for the University’s graduation ceremony for the academic year 2024/2025 and ensure all necessary requirements are in place for the event scheduled on October 25, 2025, at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences.

 

  • Follow up on reports issued by the Federal Board of Supreme Audit, respond to related official correspondence within the specified deadlines, and ensure the participation of accountants and auditors in qualification courses.

 

  • Visit student dormitories, follow up on students’ conditions, and provide support to students and staff with chronic illnesses and facilitate their work while considering their health and family circumstances.

 

University Council Directives

Fifth Session – October 21, 2025

  • Faculty must prominently display course schedules and assignments, and submit copies to the deanship and department heads, to ensure academic standards and organizational effectiveness.

 

  • Instruct the Reconstruction and Projects Department, in collaboration with all university units, to implement contemporary, adaptable classroom designs that facilitate versatile application and promote efficient use of educational resources.

 

  • Discuss strategies for maximizing the use of research resources and laboratories across university units.

 

  • Review a proposal to organize a centralized graduation ceremony for postgraduate students.

 

  • It is important to emphasize ongoing efforts to enhance academic and administrative performance, thereby improving the quality of education and research, in accordance with the university’s standing.
