In cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of the Veterinary Medicine/University of Baghdad, the Department of Parasitology organised a lecture titled “Sarcocystis in Humans and Animals”. This lecture presented Sarcocytic as a zoonotic disease caused by a protozoan parasite via sporocyst contamination and focused on its transmission, the diagnosis methods and economic losses regarding that disease.
