As a part of scientific cooperation between the College of the Veterinary Medicine/ University of Baghdad and related Ministries, professors from Physiology, Biochemistry and Pharmacology department, and some Master students, visited the Artificial Insemination Center in the Department of Animal Wealth/ Ministry of Agriculture to have a look the latest techniques, devices, and tools used to evaluate semen as a part of the Reproductive Physiology course requirements. The students were shown how semen is collected, evaluated, and processed to be used in artificial insemination in cows. This trip was in response to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research directives and the Rector of the University of Baghdad to openness with scientific institutions and exchange experiences.
