University of Baghdad Ranks Locally First Among 45 Other Competing Iraqi Universities in the Round University Ranking (RUR)
The international RUR ranking is based on evaluating universities in countries around the world according to 20 indicators in four main areas: teaching, research, international diversity, and financial sustainability.
The results of the ranking showed that the University of Baghdad moved to the 668th place compared to the 768th place in 2023. Thus, our university has advanced 100 places in the general ranking compared to its peers from other universities.
Notably, the ranking included the progress of the university’s teaching axes to 70 centers, the progress of the scientific research axis to 129 centers, in addition to the progress of the international relations axis to 70 centers, and the financial sustainability axis to 59 centers.
