The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Baghdad hosted Professor Nabil Hussein Al-Hamadi, a visiting professor from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), for two days to deliver a series of scientific lectures on how to produce and evaluate drugs and vaccines and the mechanism of their approval. The lectures focused on the most important physiological and pathological parameters studied in the evaluation of drugs and vaccines. The lectures were attended by the Dean of the College, Prof Dr Hamid Ali Kadhem, the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Prof Dr Mohammad Thabit, a number of faculty members of the college, and graduate students. This visit was directly coordinated by A/ Prof Dr Hassan Falah, the head of the Physiology, Biochemistry, and Pharmacology Department.
