Congratulation! The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Baghdad has achieved 2nd place among Iraqi universities in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings. It is noteworthy that the Times Higher Education World University Rankings use a set of 18 indicators to evaluate and measure performance in five areas: teaching (learning environment) 29.5%, research environment 29%, research quality 30%, international outlook 7.5%, and industry income 4%. In this context, Nicholas Davies, representative of the Times Higher Education in the Middle East and Africa, announced during the 2023 Iraq Education Exhibition and Conference that Iraq, for the first time, ranks 37th in the world in light of the Times Higher Education results, which indicates the quality of teaching and scientific research.
