The College of Veterinary Medicine arranged a big event to award the top three students in each academic stage in accordance with the administration’s recommendations from the University of Baghdad.
After reading some verses from the Holy Quran, a minute of silence in mourning for the martyrs who died in Palestine and Iraq was included in that ceremony.
The dean of the College, Prof Dr Hamid Ali Khadim, started a speech full of praise for the achievements of the excellent students and praised them as inspiration and motivation for their colleagues. He pointed out the importance of science in the progress of nations and the prosperity of countries. Many activities were incorporated into the ceremony program, including poems expressing love for Iraq and Palestine. The College’s Media Department produced a film about the lives of excellent college students and their future goals.
Finally, the students were so grateful to the dean for his welfare of academic affairs. It was also declared about the winning students and their supervisors in the seventh student scientific conference organised at the University of Mosul. The ceremony ended with the excitement of the students and their families who took part in this lovely and well-deserved celebration.
