The Higher Committee for E-Learning/Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research

The Higher Committee for E-Learning aims to implement e-learning strategically in our universities and educational institutions. This initiative may respond to the current digital revolution and the daily advancements in scientific information. Additionally, considering the social reality in Iraq, it seeks to utilise digital technology to enhance traditional education. The goal is to establish an integrated educational system that employs modern technologies in e-learning, utilising available resources and facilitating scientific communication. The committee aims to enhance communication and interaction. It also achieves educational and learning objectives by optimising information and communication technologies and modern systems.

The committee’s  objectives include the following points:

  • Promoting e-learning in higher education within quality standards.
  • Contributing to the development and evaluation of e-learning programs.
  • Supporting scientific research and studies in various forms of e-learning.
  • Establishing quality standards for e-learning programs, their educational digital designs, production, adoption, and global publication.
