Under the slogan (Scientific Research is an Output of Knowledge and a Way For Progress), the 14th Scientific Conference (the 3rd International) was held at the College of Veterinary Medicine/University of Baghdad. In the presence of the member of the Parliamentary Education Committee, Dr Yassin Al-Ithawi, the representative of the National Security Advisers in the Prime Minister’s Office, Dr Ali Al-Mamouri, the representative of the Rector of the University of Baghdad, the Dean of the College of Science, Prof/ Dr Abdul Karim Al-Qazzaz and other members of the University of Baghdad and the Deans of Veterinary Colleges in different Iraqi Universities. Firstly, the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Prof/Dr Hamid Ali Kazim, displayed the importance of scientific research and that great attention was paid to researchers, who had a crucial role in getting our College the 1st rank in the Iraqi Colleges of Veterinary Medicine and the 3rd in the Middle East based on Scimago Institutions Ranking 2023. Finally, not only local research but also different international lectures and research from the United States of America, Britain and Australia were shared and discussed at this event.
