On the 3rd day of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, the activities continued at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Baghdad.
The program included a dialogue session with a number of academics who discussed the role and effectiveness of academic schedules in enabling entrepreneurship and the role of universities in providing an enabling environment for entrepreneurship. Afterwards, the audience listened to the intervention of the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Prof Dr Hamid Ali Kadhem, who spoke about the role of the college and the support and encouragement it provides to students to undertake small projects. Then, a number of college students spoke about their success stories and how they were achieved, which had a great impact on the audience. The director of the International Pulse Company then completed his lecture on training and developing human resources and how to train students and graduates to keep up with the labour market.
At the end of the activities of the 3rd day, the Dean of the College honoured the participants, guests and students with certificates of appreciation for their effective participation. Finally, a bazaar of handicrafts was opened under the slogan “A small seed today for a big project tomorrow”, organised by a group of students.
