The session was dedicated to discussing the mechanisms for establishing five specialized research units aimed at boosting research activities and advancing the scientific environment within the college.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-path-to-node=\"2\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px; font-family: 'Times New Roman';\">The meeting addressed the organizational and scientific dimensions of establishing the new research units. It also defined the general frameworks for their operation in alignment with the vision of the University of Baghdad and the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which emphasize supporting applied scientific research and developing scientific solutions for challenges facing the veterinary and agricultural sectors.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-path-to-node=\"3\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px; font-family: 'Times New Roman';\">The Dean of the College emphasized the importance of this initiative in elevating the college&#8217;s research standing and fostering an advanced scientific environment that supports researchers and postgraduate students. Furthermore, the council discussed the administrative and technical requirements necessary for creating these units, as well as the mechanisms for providing the infrastructure and supporting capabilities required to ensure they achieve their research and developmental goals with high efficiency.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-path-to-node=\"4\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px; font-family: 'Times New Roman';\">At the conclusion of the meeting, the council recommended expediting the completion of the necessary procedures to establish the five research units and submitting the recommendations to the competent authorities.
